The aim of the programs is to enhance secondary school teachers' awareness and understanding of the current social, cultural, economic and environmental issues facing Hong Kong.

The programs are commissioned by the Curriculum Development Institute, Education Department.

a) Seminar on "Changing functions of schooling" held on 23 March 2002;

b) Seminar on "Japanese Culture and Young People in Hong Kong" held on April 27 2002;

c) Seminar on "Mass media in Hong Kong" held on 11 May 2002; 

d) Seminar on "Popular movies and Youths in Hong Kong" held on 14 June 2002;

e) Seminar on "Managing environmental problems in Hong Kong" held on 29 June 2002;

f) "Logistics development: implication for education" held on Oct 21 2003.
